Siena Golf Club, located 10 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, is a very popular course among Vegas-area locals who appreciate its highly varied, player-friendly design, its pleasing facilities, its reputation for friendly customer service, and its reasonable green fee. Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt laid out Siena Golf Club in 2000 to anchor a residential community that is surrounded by the Spring Mountains. With its gently sloped rolling fairways, artful bunkering, and impressive views of the mountains, Siena Golf Club immerses players in an aesthetically appealing environment. Maxing out at just 6,684 yards and presenting seven different yardage options on the scorecard, it's a course everyone can enjoy. Variety is a strong suit of this layout that isn t excessively challenging. From a strategic standpoint, Siena Gold Club rewards accuracy over power. You ll find a nice mix of par 3s and intriguing par 4s that come in all shapes and sizes and play in different directions. Some of the hazards at Siena Golf Club, including rock- and cactus-strewn areas, are hidden when you re on the tee boxes. Water features, a few of which are quite decorative, also enter the fray on several holes. On the front nine, the short par-3 5th is all-carry to the green, while on the long par-4 9th a lake hugs the left side of the fairway all the way to the putting surface. Siena Golf Club s greens are smooth, undulating, and often a little elevated to add an extra element of challenge to the game. Practice facilities include an all-grass driving range and a large, multi-tiered putting green.
