Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club debuted in 2000 and quickly became one of the Arizona golf mecca's most popular and most affordable places to play. When you have a tee time at this 18-hole championship layout you will treat yourself to a fun game on a well-maintained sporty track with breathtaking mountain views. Silverado Golf Club is a user-friendly course everyone can handle without getting beaten up. Since there's not a lot of trouble to contend with, this is an ideal course for beginners and ordinary golfers and a nice warm-up or wind-down track for skilled players. With four sets of tee markers, Silverado Golf Club offered appropriately differentiated challenges between 4,896 and 6,313 yards. You'll find predominantly flat, generous fairways loosely lined by trees and an occasional bunker. Greenside bunkers are somewhat more prevalent, but they are neither deep nor devilishly positioned in front of the putting surfaces. The medium-size, gently undulating greens at Silverado Golf Club invite run up shots and aerial entry. Throughout the round, a number of elevated tee boxes provide good looks at the challenge ahead and also showcase the scenery highlighted by vistas of Camelback and Mummy mountains. Silverado Golf Club's back nine features some elevation changes and more memorable views than the front nine. The round ends uniquely with an exciting par 3 that starts from an elevated tee and features Mummy Mountain in the background. Water surrounds much of the green. While the direct line to the pin is over a portion of the hazard, in keeping with the player-friendly quality of the course, there's a bailout avenue of dry land for conservative players. The course groomers and landscaping staff keep conditions lush and pristine. Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club does not have a driving range, but there is a warm up area as well as a chipping and putting green. The clubhouse features a pro shop and a full-service restaurant that offers breakfast and lunch fare with patio seating overlooking the course.
